It Was a Rocky Road
Getting to where you are now was probably not a straight path.
There were dramatic twists and turns that seemed insurmountable at the time or at least felt that way.
There will be pain, sorrow, and challenges in any good life. The adage that someone is born to greatness or insulated from setbacks is fiction. It's not even good fiction at that, since it's so unbelievable.
There was not a single hint in where my life was at twenty five years old that it would turn out like this. There was every indication and pattern to predict a life of challenge instead of joy, struggle not security, and wanderlust not commitment.
We get the choice each day at the fork in the road which way to turn. Turn towards your best future for you.
